I received this as a pillow gift from my wonderful upline, Mandy Grant, at Leadership. Only, it didn’t have a heart and said “You’re a Gem”. I thought I took a picture of it before I cannibalized it… Anyway, I thought this would make a great Valentine favor, and changed it to this.
Don’t you just love the Glimmer paper! The candy she used was a Ghirardelli chocolate square. Yes, it’s the same piece. I didn’t have any more to use as a template. :0)
Then I thought “Hey, I’m having a Thirty-One party,” (I know, what was I thinking?) and these would make perfect party favors!” So, I made this one.
As you can see I still can’t get enough of the Bliss set from the Sale-a-bration catalog. I heat-embossed the butterfly in Poppy Parade. It really makes it pop and it means I don’t have to cut it out!
I made this one using the new Build a Blossom set and punch. Of course I “had” to heat-emboss it also. It was a little harder to make but, isn’t it just too cute? I couldn’t decide which I like more, so I made some of each and left my friends to decide which they liked better.
Stamps: Bliss - 121851 SAB catalog, Build a Blossom - 121994 Occasion mini catalog, Itty Bitty Bits - 118592 Big catalog
Paper: Sunny Garden Designer Series Paper and Whisper White Cardstock
Ink: Daffodil Delight, Poppy Parade, and Early Espresso classic ink, VersaMark pad
Accessories: Clear embossing powder, Linen thread, Decorative Label, Jewelry Tag, and Blossoms Petal punches, Big Designer Buttons-Sweet Stitches and Basic Pearls
While I was messing around with the butterfly favor, I thought it would make a great little 3x3 card. I think I may give one to everyone who ordered at my party.
Thanks for looking. Time to create! If you have any questions please feel free to leave me a comment. Or leave me a comment even if you don’t have a question!
