ENCOURAGEMENT
I had a wonderful group of ladies over this past weekend to make cards for our church’s Encouragement Ministry. We started out making birthday cards for the women and then we added Sympathy, Get Well, Baby Shower, Wedding Shower cards, & general Encouragement tags to the mix!
I can always use a good excuse to get together with other women and stamp! Here are the cards we made this time.
Bridal Shower
I love this new Impressions folder, it makes for a quick and easy card. Something I have a hard time with! I mean, don’t you think this card needs something else? :0)
Baby Shower

I saw these wonderful little sweet peas online somewhere, but now I can’t find them, to give credit. I used the 1/2 & 3/4 circle, wide oval, and punch pack flower punch. No cutting at all!
Aren’t they just too cute? But, boy was I in trouble, it seems when you have to make 10 of them, it requires a lot of sponging. (Thanks Sandy, your the best!)
It was simple enough when I made the sample…
Encouragement

Instead of making a bunch of different cards, I decided to make up tags to fit the circumstance. We put dimensionals on the back of all of them so they would be easy to attach. Now, whoever sends them out only has to pick the one that fits, and stick it to the card.

We made 15 each of these in 2 different colors. Stampin’ Up! recently went through a major color renovation, retiring a lot of colors, and bringing back some old In Colors. I was so excited when they brought back Baja Breeze! I had a bunch of Designer Series Paper that had retired quite awhile ago that used Baja Breeze, so it was perfect for the cards above.

Aren’t they gorgeous? The ladies did an amazing job on them. Apparently, these also required a lot of sponging, soooo, I was in trouble, again.
I can’t decide which one I like better... The bottom one uses Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive and is really rich looking. But, the top one has a nice soft look about it. I still can’t decide! It’s hard to tell, but I used the textured Impressions folder on both backgrounds. It made the above Designer Series Paper look almost like fabric.
Thanks for looking! I hope you were inspired, and encouraged. Now go create something!
