It’s amazing how much more fun it is in my stamp room studio now! I know some of you are waiting to see pictures, but you’re going to have to wait a little longer. The weather is not cooperating and the light hasn’t be good enough to take pictures with.
I will also be posting close-ups weekly with organizational tips that I hope are helpful.
On to the fun stuff. Here’s what I’ve been doing:
SCALLOPED VALENTINE
I used: Scallop circle & Scallop circle #2 dies, embossing folder (oops, I think I grabbed a non-stamping up one). I won’t name the guilty party who gave it too me! Modern Label & 1 3/4 circle punch. Pretty in Pink taffeta & treat cups. It was really quick to make.
OK, so I thought this would be perfect for my daughter (7yrs) to make for her classmates. In fact I had her in mind when I made it. Only one stamp and the Big Shot, which she loves. She took one look at it and said “I don’t like it. I already have an idea.” So she proceeded to make up her own. She used punches, an embossing folder, and treat cups. My son says she’s my “mini me”. I have no idea what he’s talking about…I think she ended up making 18 of them. The bummer is I forgot to take pictures of them!!!
ALL MY HEART VALENTINE
I used: Finial Press & Perfect Polka Dots embossing folders, New Scallop Trim Corner & XL Fancy Flower punch, 1” circle, Modern Label, & Designer Label punches, & With All My Heart stamp set.

I made this for my daughter, at the last minute, for Valentines. You can’t tell by the photo but the big flower is embossed. I decorated the inside and embossed it also. I figured since I forgot to get her candy, I’d make the inside a surprise….She didn’t ask where the candy was, so maybe it worked. :0)
SCALLOPED CIRCLE FAVOR
I used: Scallop Circle & Scallop Circle #2 dies, Modern Label & Heart to Heart punch. I {Heart} Hearts & Fundamental Phrases stamp sets.
The idea for this favor, came from Mandy Grant (the best upline ever!). She always has something I can steal. You could put all kinds of things in it. Mint sticks, glow sticks, you name it. I was going to put Pixie Stix in there but I ate them!
VALENTINE CIRCLES
I used: Scallop Circle, 3/4” Circle & Modern Label punches, Basic Black 1 1/4” striped grosgrain.

I just realized that I didn’t use the Big Shot for this card. I can’t believe it! Lately it seems like I can’t make a card without it. :0) I had a request to make a Valentine that was for a girl, but from a guy. He didn’t want it to be to girly and the only heart stamp I have is definitely girly! This is what I came up with. The idea came for a swap card. There was no name on the back so I can’t give credit to anyone, sorry. :0( It’s hard to tell but I used Very Vanilla cardstock instead of Whisper White, so that it would match with the ribbon.
FEBRUARY STAMP CLUB CARDS
FRIENDS EASEL CARD
I used: Elegant Bouquet embossing folder & Scallop Trim border punch (Free – during Sale-a-bration), Vintage Vogue stamp set.

This is my first easel card. (you can find directions for an easel card here) Folded down it measures 4 1/4 x 4 1/4. It was so easy and I love the way it looks. You could put a photograph on here and not only would you be send a card but they would receive an instant picture frame. I totally came up with the idea for both of these cards, all by myself, can you believe it! They came out way better than I thought they would. Not that I’m bragging on myself, or anything like that….
BIRTHDAY EASEL CARD
I used: Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder, Scallop Circle, Modern Label, 3/4” Circle & Scallop Trim border punches, Party Hearty stamp set.
I just love this color combo! It’s hard to tell by the photo but I used Soft Suede and Brocade Blue. They work really well together. This easel card measure like a regular card when folded flat – 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.
Not to make you feel bad, but, if you’d come to the Technique Club this month you would have made these 2 cards! Not to worry though, I’ll be modifying both of these for a Birthday Card Stamp-A-Stack in March.
Thanks for looking I hope you were inspired to go create something!
